We had a great time at Nipika on Sunday volunteering for the Loppet.  It looked like everything went well from my point of view!  It was a great day, we really enjoyed it.

We attended your Loppet today out at the Nipika Lodge. It was our first time attending racing in this area. My daughter was fortunate enough to receive a silver medal. We just wanted to say thank you for the race, we enjoyed it very much. Also please pass along thanks to whomever crafted your medals for you. They are works of art that will always be cherished. We look forward to more events in your area in the future.

I've been out to Nipika about six times now and it is a pure blast. Grooming is excellent for classic and skate. The scenery superb. And every time you ski out to the confluence of the Cross and Kootenay Rivers, you get a different view of ice forming here and there... so bring your lunch and camera to that spot. The sun blasts you in the face there. And on the way down to Canyon Bridge, look to the right for the hidden falls which is churning over great blocks of rock. The Barn lodge has been re-organized also so that there is a more homey atmosphere than ever.
